Join us at our Westside location on Friday, February 7th from 5pm – 7pm for Sherry Montoya’s new art displays and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
In these unique paintings, Sherry mixes paint pigments derived from organic sources such as pollen and varietal grapes (a technique used by ancient, medieval and Renaissance artists), augmented occasionally with high-end water colors to produce an unparalleled, one of a kind palette.
With her passion for wine and appreciation of the romantic colors each wine varietal produces and by sourcing her own pigments, Sherry creates works of art that can truly be called ‘one-of-a-kind’. Embracing this creative art form was a natural progression from her work in Gyotaku print techniques.
